This information is very helpful for us. Safe Routes to School are very important, the City is working with BASD around Lincoln and Northeast Middle, with hopes of expanding to other schools in the future.
Recommended improvements to both physical infrastructure, as well as education for parents and students on safer behavior is our primary goal at the current time.

600 block of Maple Street across from Thomas Jefferson school between broad and north st.
cars speed up and down this street everyday including the police. And when parents pick their children up they double park and sometimes triple park and other cars will keep going passing them at normal speed one day there will be an accident or a child will get hit. So please look into this I would appreciate it before something seriously happens.
And believe me about the police flying up the street I have seen it with my own eyes and so has my neighbors.
