Our goal is to coordinate with Bethlehem Township to continue to the shopping center. Oakland and Linden are the City boundary, so that's why you see the abrupt terminus.

There's probably a specific reason the proposed linden street bike lane ends at Oakland just before the two shopping centers but I think extending the separated bike lanes to the light would greatly increase its usefulness. People already risk their safety on linden street all the way up to the walmart shopping center and we've already had a pedestrian fatality in the last year on this road.

I agree with this. It’s a chance to improve the pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, better access by walking to the shopping centers, and it will improve the transit in the area.
