How does this relate to the project along Broad Street?
As a major downtown commercial street that serves people taking all forms of transportation, Broad Street is a great example of a Complete Streets project that will incorporate separated bike lanes, curb extensions, bus stops, and medians. The Complete Streets Plan and the Broad Street project are designed to work hand in hand, ensuring that the improvements along Broad Street align with the citywide vision and design principles being developed through the plan.

The City of Bethlehem is developing a Complete Streets Plan to help make our streets safer for everyone, whether you are a pedestrian, bicyclists, transit rider, or motorist.
The project team hosted an Open House Meeting on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, which covered key transportation issues and opportunities across the city and provided an update on the planned improvements along Broad Street.
