How does this relate to the project along Broad Street?

As a major downtown commercial street that serves people taking all forms of transportation, Broad Street is a great example of a Complete Streets project that will incorporate separated bike lanes, curb extensions, bus stops, and medians. The Complete Streets Plan and the Broad Street project are designed to work hand in hand, ensuring that the improvements along Broad Street align with the citywide vision and design principles being developed through the plan.

How does this relate to the project along Stefko Boulevard?

Stefko Boulevard offers regional connectivity to key destinations, has seen a large number of severe and fatal injury crashes, and is on the City’s bicycle and bus network. It was identified as a corridor of need through various engagement efforts, including conversations with the Bethlehem Area School District, the Pembroke Village neighborhood, and the Bethlehem community at large.

The City is exploring ways to make the Stefko Boulevard corridor safer and more accessible to all transportation modes, whether you walk/roll, bike, take transit, or drive.
