Maple Street from Washington Ave through Geopp St.

Sandra, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding the proposed standard bike lane on Maple Street. Maple is being used as parallel route to Linden Street, connecting from Jennings to Church. Elm Street is not as direct of a route, and therefore was not selected for bike infrastructure. The intersection of Elm, Turner and Beech creates an awkward jaunt that most riders would likely not take. Additionally, it terminates at Market Street to the South, and ideally we want bikers to get to Church Street. We will continue to accept feedback and encourage you to attend the open house on June 18th 6-8pm at NCC Southside room 605. Thanks again for your time!
