Greetings & Salutations,

What if Bethlehem chose to combat Climate Change by developing a new Public Park by The Steel Stacks? I envision trees being planted to promote greener space & a water fountain to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary in 2026! First off, the area is rather desolate at the moment without a whole lot of green space. Secondly, I feel like a world class water fountain is something that Bethlehem is missing that could enhance the value of the area significantly! With the new parking garage & apartments near Polk St. there really couldn't be a better time to develop a Capital Campaign Website or news announcement to get people excited & on board with the project! I mean look what The Unisphere did for Royal Flushings Park in NYC!

Every time I go to an event at the Steel Stacks, it strikes me how industrial and paved the whole area still is. Events like the Wicked Plant Festival feel a bit out of place there. More green spaces and trees at a minimum would be a great improvement

@Anthony Bronico. People will always have respect for Bethlehem's past in building America! It's time we honor that past by building & developing a brighter future for people that live & love or are just visiting! It's depressing seeing all of this land available & caged off with no one stepping forward to develop. It was great in the past, now we need to make the future exceptional!
