8th Avenue is a very wide street with speeds that are above what should be present, and it has many unnecessary lanes.

We could remove a car lane to add protected bike lanes on each side of the road that would present a safe and reliable route down to the Rose Garden and Broad Street, or up towards Schoenersville.
